For perfect results when butt welding with a heating element, the joining surfaces of the elements to be welded are joined in several steps. First, both parts are brought into contact with pressure. Then, the parts can be heated with reduced pressure using the heating element. Before starting the welding process, check the required temperature of the welding plate and only use it 10 minutes after reaching the target temperature to allow thermal equilibrium to be established. After the heating element has been removed, the joining surfaces can be joined under pressure. Always ensure that the tools are clean and free of grease before and after use.
