General Information:
Semi-automatic butt welding machines of type ZHCN-E are used for welding pipes and fittings made of plastics PE, PP, PB, PVDF with diameters from 110–400 mm. All components of the device are controlled by the hydraulic control unit UHEN-2.5 PLUS, in which a recording device is permanently installed, which enables the control of the welding machine as well as the monitoring and display of the performed activities thanks to the messages displayed on the screen. The control program monitors the operator and prevents them from making mistakes (e.g., incorrect pressure setting, starting welding before the heating element has reached the required temperature, etc.). ZHCN-E- welding machines can automate part of the welding process. It is possible to connect an external GPS antenna. The machine can be operated in German, English, Russian, and Polish. The Semi-Automatic Welding Process:
By default, ZHCN-E welding machines operate in semi-automatic mode, guiding the operator step-by-step through the entire welding process according to DVS 2207, which must be strictly followed to ensure that the weld is performed correctly and cleanly. This prevents the welder, for example, from not observing the cooling time correctly, prematurely ending or skipping a welding process, which would result in an unclean weld seam. The welding machine also allows for partial automation of certain tasks, such as the automatic retraction and approach of the carriage when removing the heating element or lowering the pressure during the welding phase. This also saves valuable time on the construction site and minimizes operator errors.
PGEN Heating Element:
The temperature of the heating element is controlled by the automatic power supply, the diode on the heating element indicates whether the heating plate has reached the required temperature. The exact temperature of the heating plate can be monitored on the control unit's display.
Registration of Welding Parameters:
The device can store parameters of up to 3000 welding cycles. Data stored in memory can be downloaded to a USB stick and then printed using connection software. The software is compatible with Windows versions Vista, 7, 8, 8.1, 10, 11.
