WIDOS 4600 Heating Element Butt Welding Machine with Clamping Inserts

The WIDOS 4600 can be used to process PE, PP, PA and PVDF pipes and fittings from DA 75 to DA 250. The WIDOS 4600 has a double clamping device with quick clamping on both the fixed and movable sides. This is guided on 2 shafts. For connection to the hydraulic control unit, there are 2 flexible hoses with quick couplings on the machine. The double clamping device is bolted to the steel tube undercarriage. The outer fixed clamping element can be easily removed by loosening 3 screws in order to weld in hard-to-reach places, e.g. in manholes or on the branch side of T-pieces. By removing it from the undercarriage, the remaining unit can be used as a 3-ring repair machine. The WIDOS 4600 is thus a 4-ring and a 3-ring machine in one.

The WIDOS 4600 can be used on construction sites and in trenches. Pipes and fittings from DA 75 to DA 250 can be processed. The outer fixed clamping element of the WIDOS 4600 can be easily removed by loosening 3 screws in order to weld in hard-to-reach places. By removing it from the undercarriage, the remaining unit can be used as a 3-ring repair machine. A tear-off device on the base frame prevents the heating element from sticking to the heated pipe ends and thus enables easy handling. The hydraulic unit moves the right double clamping device and precisely controls the joining force. It has a push-back device to support the joining force during the cooling time, 2 quick couplings and a digital manometer for precise pressure display. The facing tool has a chain drive in a closed aluminum housing. The facing tool blades used are ground on both sides and can therefore be used multiple times.

The heating element is non-stick coated and has electronic temperature control with digital display. A setting box is available for heat-protected storage of the heating element and for hanging the facing tool. WIDOS welding machines can be easily retrofitted with WIDOS SPA welding protocol recording devices and are also available in CNC-controlled versions.
